Your inflexible Grace

This work is something I did today with a number of things in mind; all private, all important both recent and past. It is called ‘Your Inflexible Grace’. It is an abstraction representation of the above painting. That painting evoked a number of feelings and thoughts and I really wanted to paint it but not in a way that it was a clear reproduction.

I had some difficulty in titling this particular piece since I could only think of labeling it similar to what the original photographer called it. I was listening to a Dream Theater song earlier today and a lyric stuck with me. I borrowed it.

The verse is

“In learning to live
Spread before you is your soul
So forever hold the dreams within your hearts
Through nature’s inflexible grace”
